I like to thank everyone for attending the memorial. It was heart warming to see and realize how a death can bring us together. Close friends and relatives were present to say farewell to Rose Marie Dubuc Anselmo. On my way home, I had an emotional sensation that made me think how presses life is. In a flash, life will be gone and there's no turning back. Be the big person, call your old friends, call your relative's and say hello. Briefly share some words, it won't hurt. Be bold, be humble and most importantly, be who you really are.

We often say that the hour of death cannot be predicted. When we say this, we imagine this hour would be in a distant future. We never thought we would be thinking about Rose as a memory. Yes, it came a little too soon. We all have different memories of Rose, but one thing we have in common, is the way she loved and lived for her family. Every time she shared one of her family stories, her eyes would light up with the most amazing shine. A shine that could never be unnoticed. She had courage and tenacity that every person who came into contact with her, could see a powerful aura. She went through so much in the past 10 years, things that would have shattered a lot of people but never Rose. She was a mother, a wife, sister, mentor, and friend. She had a way of making each one of us feel like we were her favorite. We will remember her as a fighter and a very buoyant woman with strong integrity. Her courage, determination and sense of humor is something we will never be forgotten. We are so appreciative for the brief time we were able to spend with her. Rest in Peace. Written by Silvano

Dear Dennis & Family, please accept our sincere sympathy on the loss of Rose Marie. She was such a kind and loveable person. We can still recall her beautiful smile and laughter as we shared the great times together over the years, especially at her home in Maple Ridge in the late 70's and early 80's.
Yours sincerely,Marilyn & Dennis Martin - South Vancouver.
