Mark was a great colleague and a good friend to me. He was brilliant, funny, kind, and always ready to help in any way he could. We often laughed together and shared quiet confidences that led to a strong bond between us. I still get teary-eyed when I re-read the personal note he gave me when I retiredlike Mark, it was straight up and right from the heart. Can't believe you're gone my friend. I miss you a lot.

I will miss Mark very much at the lanes. He was always so happy go lucky. I will never forget him putting a bowling ball name on Bills's head with black thumb tape!

After hearing of Mark's passing a couple weeks ago I'm still in shock. I was fortunate to have reconnected with Mark last year at Hemlock. We laughed like we used to 40+ years ago! Mark will always be remembered for his smile, laughter, generosity and that Olds Cutlass. Rest in Peace my old friend - until we do that long smokey burn-out down Number Three Road again.

Daddy I miss you so much. You worked so hard to make sure I had a good life. When I was off track you fought to get me back on track, when I was sad you always knew how to make me smile. I am grateful for you walking me down the aisle on my wedding day and being able to hold and cuddle your grand babies. I love you daddy and I know you loved me too.

I, along with so many in the softball community, am saddened to hear of Mark's passing. He was an opponent on the field of play, a fellow team administrator and, most of all, a friend.
Gayle and family our prayers are with you at this difficult time. Sadly my wife and I will be unable to attend the celebration of life as we will be out of town...we will be thinking of you.

Finding it hard to fathom that Mark won't be at the other end of the line when I have tricky technical printing questions! He was such a wonderful guy to work with, so knowledgable, yet always warm and friendly. The whole team here at UBC Brand & Marketing will miss him. Our condolences to his wife and family.
