My deepest sympathy to the family.
Mr. Chu Mo Yee was one of my Dad's (Tung Chi Hing) best friends. Now they were both in better place, having a heart-felt chat.
Indeed they were from the same village, North Village of Guangzhou. "Mo Yee" this name was mentioned many many time in front of me while in Hong Kong and in Canada, just like Mr. Chu's legacy will be echoing forever.
God bless to Chu family.

I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. Please find peace and comfort in Psalms 119:76.

Dear Walter, Calvin, Wayne, and Family, I just learned the passing of Tommy. Tommy came to Canada seeking a bright future like most young men that had a dream. Tommy dedicated his life to raising his children and grand children. He endured many hardship when he started his business on Edmond Street, but had guidance through family and friends has achieved his goals in making a good life for himself and family. Coming to Canada and struggling to learn the language while running a business speaks volumes of the type of man he was. He and his wife Betty was a tireless couple that worked hard who gave their children the work ethics to accomplish anything they set out to do. In the earlier years Tommy and Betty will shop at the Cash & Carry and meet up with family to learn the latest news or just to catch up on the latest gossip.Tommy's family is part of the grocery business history in the lower mainland and one of the first members of the Lower Mainland Grocers Association. My sincere condolences to Tommy's family on his passing. May he rest in peace.

Through Sharon, we learned a lot about Tommy. He was a pillar of his community and he lived for his family and customers. Our deepest sympathy
goes to the family at this sad time.

Mr. Chu was truly a very friendly man. Whenever I or my mother came into the store, he would greet you with his infectious smile. We will miss him. Our deepest sympathies to Mr. Chu's family.
