Thoughts and Prayers to Michael's family today and every day
December 10, 2013
Michael was a a very kind and caring person. I am very fortunate to have known him. My thoughts and prayers go out to Michael's family.

I am very sorry to hear about this. I actually only found out because I was talking about him last night to a friend, and wanted to refer my friend to him. My deepest sympathies go out to your and your family. For the short time that I knew him, I cannot express what a pleasure it was to have met and known someone with his strength of character and wonderful positive attitude. Again, I am very sorry for your loss.

Dana and family,
There is not a day that goes by that I don't say a prayer for you and your family. There really are no words to express the loss for your and your family and our community. Thinking of you!

Dana,
I continue to hold you and your family in my thoughts. The words that I have heard on all occasions to describe both you and Michael are "sweet" and "warm." Those are important words and the same ones that come to my mind whenever I think of the two of you. I hope to know you better and am grateful to have had the opportunity to know Michael at least a little.

Dana, I am very, very sorry about Michael
I will keep him in my prayers every night
May God Bless him and take him with him.

I have been truly blessed to have known Michael, even for a short time. His kindness and love for his family was inspiring and a small example of how he treated others in his life. Michael...God has one of his best creations in his kingdom. You will be missed.

I don't use the word "Lucky" To describe my knowing Michael. That term is relegated to "Chance". I am "blessed" to have known him. What I mean by this is it was "Purposed". I thank God for putting Michael in my life a true reflection of Christ and his Love. I thank Michael for living a live unashamed of Loving and Accepting people openly and without hesitation. A Remarkable Man!

Dana,
Last year my grandmother was in the hospital and while walking down the hall I caught a glimpse of Michael in a picture on the wall. The following day at school I mentioned it to him and he asked if there was anything he could do to help my grandmother. Michael didn't know her and only knew me from the occasional "Hello" while dropping off/picking up our kids from school. He trully was an amazing person who was willing to help ANYONE. I pray that the light inside of him will continue to shine in all those he touched with his generous heart and contagious smile.

Dear Mike and Lucy,
Thank you for raising such a wonderful son. Mr. Lavenant, when I saw you at Spanish Hills earlier today, all I could manage to say and still maintain my composure was "I am sorry for your loss". I wanted to share with you I was overwhelmed by the sight of the traffic gridlock at Las Posas and Arneil prior to the service. As you were already on the grounds, you did not see the congestion on the streets as people were coming in droves to honor your son. The parking lot monitors could not keep up with the line of cars. People were walking in from all directions after parking blocks away. Flooding onto the grounds of the church by the hundreds were business executives, kids in their team uniforms, Los primeros teachers, all members of this community were represented. Even on a day of mourning, Michael continues to make you proud of him. I will continue to pray for comfort for You, Lucy and Dana and the children during this difficult time. - Ray Liu
