You've been gone a year today, Uncle Robert. I miss you so much, but am grateful to have had so many years with you. The lasting legacy of your special life stays with me. For that, I am also grateful. Say hi to everyone at Home. I love you - always.

Today would have been your eightieth birthday, Uncle Robert. I had so hoped we'd have been able to throw a big party for your eightieth. I even had a certain superheroes cake in mind for you! I hope you are having a big bash with all of the rest of the family who have gone Home. You are loved more than ever, and are very much missed. I miss your hugs and smile most of all. Happy birthday to you, with all of my love,
Candy

My fondest memory is his comic books and his Elvis collection. He would chase us younger kids when we would look at his comic books. Till we meet again.

I'll miss Robert asking, "Where are we going today?" I'll also miss his big smiles, laughs, and when he finished eating, "that was good!" or, finished his drink and would say, "dead duck!"
