Sweet Janet, I cannot believe I am only just finding out about your passing. You were a lovely woman and person who cared deeply about her family and friends. I'll miss your smile and your laugh and Christmas cheer and the music. Please give my love to Randall.

Dear George: I am so sorry to just find out about the untimely passing of your mom. We go back to Starlight Theatre, Kansas City, MO, in the late 60's. . You, Tom (RIP) and you mom stayed with my ex and I for a while. Then Tom and your mom visited in California while she was doing some Emcee work in the mid 70's. I took Tom with me to Mexico for a day! Your mom and I were in touch on and off. I spoke to her a bit more than a year ago, when she went to California and got so sick! I will for ever remember her for her warmth, talent and beauty and her role in "Hello Dolly" at Starlight. If you are ever near Boston please look me up. 508 786-0333. So sorry for your loss,she was always a wonderful friend to me and to Jazz. I remember many gabby lunches and a few birthday parties as well as the jazz festivals and performances. She was a shining , lucky to be alive kinda gal and an proponent of living every moment fully and with joy. I will miss her. I send you love and sympathy but a grateful heart that she shared part of her life with me.
