Bill Adams of Hallsburg, longtime bridge beam hauler, passed away Monday, March 18, 2013, in Austin. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at Upper Cedar Creek Cemetery in Cedar Creek. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home, Bastrop, Texas.

I drove with Bill when I was a driver with Texas Canadian Transport and later as an escort leading or chasing him down the road.And he enjoyed drinking Dr. Pepper.I'll miss his deep voice on the C.B.
