Our thoughts and prayers are with you today as we remember Waleed today. May you be comforted knowing that he is resting in peace in God's arms until you meet again.

It was Easter of 1989 and I had the privilege of spending the holiday with Waleed and his family. What an amazing weekend with laughter, delicious Lebanese food and the warmth and love that engulfed me. I think of Waleed often and feel so blessed that I had the honor of knowing him. He was a lovely human being.

I found Waleed's Memorial site, when my computer finally got back after being fixed. Years ago, I found a site that turned out to be his, that plays an instrumental Ave Maria. When the computer went out the door, I remembered that the name of the website was unusual, but I couldn't quite remember it. I listened each morning to that Ave, and a beloved dog always 'sang' along...When I thought the address was lost, -I missed it. Well, it was retrieved, and today I read for the first time about the fine young man who was the inspiration for the website Memorial... Each morning, from now on, I'm sure I will remember Waleed and his family, with and in the words and music of the sweet Ave they have given us on their son's site... http://www.iskandar.com/ourlady/ourladyfeasts.html

I was moved by the website dedicated to Waleed; although I did not know him I can tell he was a wonderful person who is missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
