Wally you were ageless. I only saw you perform once but it was amazing. I wish I had been able to see it again. We will all miss you.

Wally you were ageless. Remember the show from when I was a kid and now my children have enjoyed your antics in the clips on the Disneyland Treasures discs and of course as Jose the parrot. Hard to believe all the things you did. Thank you

To the Boag Family,

I have so many wonderful memories of going to Disneyland. One of the best ones was going to the Golden Horseshoe Revue. It was one of my favorite things to do when we went to the Park. I could watch that show over and over, and never got tired of it. When we would bring visiting relatives, we would always take them to see the show. Wally Boag was such a talented performer! He will be missed by us all.

He was the Chaplin of Disneyland and one of the greatest live stage entertainers of the 20th century.

I visited Disneyland for the first time back in 1977 or so. It was hot and sunny, and I wandered by the Golden Horseshoe with two friends, and saw that a show was about to start. As I recall, it was a full house but we were told to wait for a moment. Suddenly we were ushered into the theatre and right into the stage-left box seats. It felt a bit embarrassing to be sitting right there on the stage. I felt even more embarrassed when Wally starting popping seeds from his mouth, aiming them directly at us! I still can't explain why it was so hilarious, but it was an afternoon I will never forget. When I tell people about Wally, I always have to explain that it might not sound funny when I explain what Wally did, but we were all (the whole audience as well as myself and my two friends) roaring with laughter! It was magical! I am so glad that I got the chance to meet him and shake his hand when he made an appearance at the Egyptian Theatre a few years ago...Memories like these are treasures.

Wally was a gem, I'll mis him but not his laughter.
