The precious memories of Walt Hazzard will bring you comfort. However, even in the face of calamity you can have hope. God will comfort and bless you at this critical time. Do not let your heart be troubled, (John 14:27). Complete reliance on "the God of all comfort" will help to endure his bereavement(2Cor.1:3,4).

My name is Edward Stuat, Bostonian.Walt Hazard was one of a kind.
Back when he played in the NBA he is the only one who could dribble
a ball like that. I have been waiting 50 years to see another person
dribble as he.He could put the ball in front of him, next to his right side
or left side, the ball would dribble behind him.,then to his left hand
beside him.Imagine standing still and dribbling the boll around you
in a 360 circle..He could move slow or very fast.,tempting the defense.
He was indefesably. With that circle dribble some teams tried to double team him.He would not stop his circle dribble. Two players
tried hard to steal and I mean as hard as any body could. He could
handle the ball so well it was never stolen. hE WAS SO VERY FAST,
when the two players tried to steal the ball, they learn he was baiting
them .He knew they could not stal the ball.He would go to a speed
he only had.IT LOOKED FUNNY SEEING THESE VERY GOOD
DEFENSIVE PLAYERS TRYING TO CATCH HIM.HE WOULD SUCKER HIM IN BY GOING BELOW AVERGE SPEED.HE LET THEM TRY TO STEAL THE BALL AND THEY TRIED AS HARD AS ANY TWO GOOD
DEFENSIVE PLAYERS COULD.HE THEN MOVED SO FAST THE PLAYER WERE LEFT BEHIND TRYING IN VAIN TO STEEL THE BALL.
IT WAS LIKE LOOKING AT THE GLOBE TROTTER PLAYING WASHINGTON GENERALS.HE WOULD PASS THE BALL BECAUSE
TWO PLAYER WERE OUT OF PLACE.BOOM THE BALL WAS PASSED
ONCE OR TWICE, SWEET AN EASY SCORE.

WHEN WALT PLAYED,YOU COULD HIT PUSH REACH IN AND GRAB.

He WAS THE ONLY PLAYER OTHER TEAMS DID NOT DEFEND HIM
UNTILL HE WAS 75% UP THE COURT. THEY ALL WERE AFFRAID
HIS SPEED AND DRIBBLING SKILL WOULD CAUSE THEM TO BE A MAN DOWN. I KNOW HIS CHILDREN AND GRAND AND OTHER WERE THERE TO SEE HIM. HITTING SHOVING REACHING WAS
ALLOWED..IN THE 60'S HE WAS THE ONLY ONE THEY WOULD
NOT GUARD ONLY WHEN HE WAS GETTING CLOSE TO PASSING
DISTANCE. HIS MAN CHEAT TO WHERE HE THOUGHT WHERE THE
PASS COULD GO.NO ONE COULD PASS BETTER THAN WALT.
HE WAS A VERY,VERY GOOD PASSER.THE OTHE TEAM WAS UNABLE TO STOP HIS GREAT PASSES AND HE COULD SHOOT
WELL.

JONNY MOST WHO BROADCASTED THE CELTICS WAS VERY NEGATIVE TWORDS OTHER TEAMS COACHES AND PLAYERS.
HE ALWAYS ENJOYED WATCHING HIM.CALLED HIM A GENTLE
MAN,A FAMILY MAN.JOHNNY PRAISED HIM WHICH FOR ANOTHER
TEAMS PLAYER WAS VERY,VERY VERY RARE.

STILL LOOKING FOR ANOTHER GREAT PLAYER LIKE WALT HAZZARD.IN MORE THAN 50 YEARS I SAW NONE.

WHEN I THINK OF GREAT PLAYERS, I THINK OF WALT HE WAS
ONE OF A KIND.

SOME DAY HE WILL BE IN THE NAISMITH MEMORIAL BASKETBALL
HALL OF FAME.

HE WAS ALWAYS TO ME ONE OF THE GREATEST.

HE DID MUCH FOR THE GAME.WALT FRAZIER WAS CALLED CLYED
WALT BELLEMY WAS CALLED BUTTER BEAN BECAUSE IN THE NBA
THERE WAS ONLY ONE WALT,

THANK YOU FOR YOUR COLLEGE,PRO,COACHING AND OTHER COTRIBUTIONS TO THE GREATEST GAME.

MAY YOU ALL HAVE PEACE THAT WILL PASS ALL UNDERSTANDING.

THANK YOU WALT.MAY YOU REST IN PEACE.YOU WERE ONE OF
A KIND.
