Among my fondest memories of Mr. Kowalski was a match I saw with my mother. He and Bruno Sammartino wrestled to a one hour draw at Pittsburgh Civic Arena.
God Bless

We miss you Walter. Thanksgiving will not be the same with out you. I never knew you as a "killer"; only as a sweet person with great stories. Your legacy will always live on in wrestling and we already have a 3 year old that practices the claw on her brother.
Teresa we are so sorry for your loss.
with so much love,
Jessica, David, Willow, and Judah Goldman

My sincere sympathies to Walter's family and friends...
I remember "Killer" as being a true class-act...He was always so gracious and kind...I remember meeting him and getting his autograph at the Rhode Island Special Olympics Celebrity Sports Carnivals...He was always willing to help out and do his part for a worthy cause...I will always remember him fondly...
Rest in Peace Mr. Kowalski...Thank you for many great memories and for your tireless efforts to assist many worthy causes like the Special Olympics...Such a caring person, as he was, can never be replaced...He will be missed greatly....
