Dear Terry,

I hope you will see this message. We are so sad to see this news about Lee and perhaps even sadder that we lost touch over the years, finding out about his passing almost 4 months afterward.

Last night we were driving through a small town in NH and Toby noticed a sign for a "Wilcox Pharmacy." That made him think of Lee and you, and Toby Googled Lee's name to find out where you are now. We were so sad to find his obituary and spent the rest of our drive telling our son Max and his friend stories from Northwestern about Lee, the NU ski team, and our trip to Jackson Hole. It brought back great memories and quite a few laughs.

We had a beer in his honor last night and shared the sad news with Jamie Van Alstine, another NU ski team alumnus now living in England, who also raised a pint to Lee from "across the pond."

Sending our very warmest wishes to you and the kids as you get through this period. We'll hope to see you if you stop by sometime to see us in CT--still in the same place with a table waiting for you at the inn. We'll think of Lee as we hit the slopes and I'm sure we'll imagine him skiing in the clouds.

With very much love and a few tears,
Toby and Vicki Fossland

I lived next door to Lee freshman year at Northwestern. I could always count on him to discuss personal and school problems and enjoyed watching him succeed as a walk on in baseball. I can't remember a time when he didn't have a smile on his face. My condolences to his family and friends that have become a part of his life since then.

May the thought of knowing that friends family and God share your grief be of comfort to your family Pro 17:17
