I am blessed to have been able to call him Uncle Alan! From the day we met, he made me feel welcome and a part of the Stokely family! He was a beautiful person who will be greatly missed!
I keep remembering something he said to me a few years ago (referencing my husband), "...someone named Alan Stokely can't be all bad!" It makes me smile.
My deepest love and sympathy to you all and a big hug from SD!

Uncle Alan was mighty fine, a loving and generous man, with a witty humor and the Irishman's natural love of a tease. I am so glad I had him in my life. Thank you, Aunt Helen, for sharing him with us.
