I am so sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of working for Alice as a librarian at MPR Associates. I couldn't possibly have had a better role model. Alice inspired me both professionally and personally. I was in awe of her energy and discipline and admired how consistently she managed to focus on the things that really matter in life. She set an excellent example for living a rich, meaningful life, being of service to others, and taking pleasure in what life brings us. Working with Alice was enjoyable and a first-rate learning experience from a remarkable woman. Those memories and work-and-life lessons will stay with me always.

Remember your Mom and Dad babysitting for me getting paid by 2 6 packs of beer. Your Mom telling me NOT to dive into jelly fish, I would be sorry, I was sorry. Great Lady, Mother and Aunt. She will be missed by all..

I am so sorry to hear of Alice's death. She was the Librarian at Blessed Sacrament School when I taught there in the 1970s. I always admired her strength and her faith that enabled her to raise her seven children when her husband died. She had a great sense of humor and was always willing to help. She was wonderful with the second graders as she read them stories when they went to the library. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this sad time. Rest in Peace, Alice.
