My dearest Tumulty family,
I will always remember Aunt Alice as a woman of great beauty and grace. Even though it has been many years since our last Tumulty family reunion, all the great times we had at our July 4th gatherings are some of my best childhood memories. Aunt Alice was a very special woman and role model for me as a young girl when I was lucky to spend so much time with Aunt Alice and your family. I will miss her and all the elders of that era who were so much a part of our young lives.
With deepest sympathy and love to you all,

Mary Alice and Jim,
Have heard about your Mom for many years and appreciate seeing her obituary. Sounded like she enjoyed life in a variety of ways. Did not know she was from Shamokin--very close to my birthplace in PA. Picture looks so much like Mary Alice. Don and I wish you both the strength to make your way forward from such a loss.

Dear Tumulty Family,
So sorry to hear of Aunt Alice's death. Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this sad time. She had a wonderful life for 96 years. What a lovely obituary. I'll never forget and always looked forward to visiting the family at the Silver Spring homestead. What a fantastic place to play, have great picnics and family reunions. All along Aunt Alice & Uncle Joe were so generous and kind planning all the activities. Alice was such a beautiful lovely woman, always caring for others. I hope all the family is having a great reunion in heaven. Sorry I haven't been in touch.
Love You All, Chip & Family

Aunt Alice was such a lovely woman, inside and out. I never heard her say an unkind word. Not only was she kind and generous to all of her nieces and nephews, but to all of our children, too. Will miss her!

Dear Trisha and Tumulty family,
What a beautiful obituary for your Mother. She was an extra ordinary lady, whom I never met, but I can see that she had a bountiful life and a perky personality. Our deepest condolences to you and your entire family as you grieve her passing.
