My heart is sad to hear of Alan's passing. Nona, Nate, Beth and Thad, may god hold you in his hands. I will never forget Alan's sweet kindness as he served as the neighborhood pied piper to all the children while he joyfully took them on hikes around our beautiful neighborhood and woods. The kids just loved him. He always had such a kind word and happy way. His family meant everything to him. It was evident to all who knew him that he was a very good man.

To: Bethany Brown and Family,
"Those we love remain with us, for love lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one's gone. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart. For as long there is a memory, they'll live on in our hearts."
Remember that even on your darkest days, that there is an angel by your side to guide along the way. Please know that my thoughts and prayers embrace you.

It was a pleasure to cross paths with this icon of the wrestling world. As a fellow Pennsylvanian, Allen was a master storyteller. He will be missed by us in the wrestling world, but he left us a legacy. Our condolences from the Lehigh University community.

His passing will only bring him closer and he will be ever present at the right times when he is needed. I speak from experience and watch for the pennies from heaven at the strangest places.

So sorry to hear of this sad, surprising news from Emily. I am glad that I had the opportunity to joke around with Allen at the family gathering I went to over the years; Em and Thad's wedding, kids birthdays, holiday and general visits. He was a magnetic charismatic person and it is strange to think of the world is without him. Your family is in my thoughts.
