I am so sorry to hear of Andy's passing. We had worked together since about 1983 when he joined Arostructures and we continued working together at TDA until his retirement. He was someone you always looked up to and had a wealth of knowledge on just about any type of aircraft structure. My first job was at Boeing in 1977 and I will never forget the day that Andy showed up as an FAA rep to review the work that Boeing was doing to certify their commercial aircraft as "Damage Tolerant". He made a lasting impression on me and he will be sorely missed.
