Dr Schoengold I will miss you .
January 02, 2014
I only recently found of dr. Schoengold's passing. I'm a recovering heroin addict thanks to his working at Avery Road. When I left the center Iasked him if I could continue seeing him. He had no problem with that or the fact of being an addict nor didthe subjectevercome up.A very good dr. who really cared for people. It wouldn't surprise me if housecalls were made!He either entered smiling or a lookk of concern. RIP

I am very sad to find out about the passing of Dr. Schoengold. I've been a patient of his since the 80s. Not only was he an outstanding and genuinely caring doctor but a great person I could talk to about anything. I will certainly miss seeing him. My condolences to Julie, Ashley, and past staff (Barbara et. al.).

I was trying to schedule my annual checkup this afternoon, and was totally stunned to find out the passing of Dr. Schoengold. I had been his patient for past 20+ year and always trusted his judgement and evaluation. He was such a nice man and a great Doctor that I will miss him forever. My deepest sympathies to Dr. Schoengold's family and his staff Ashly and Julie.

I was shocked and deeply saddened to have learned of Dr. Schoengold's passing yesterday. Dr. Schoengold was the only doctor I've had as an adult. I completely trusted Dr. Schoengold's abilities and judgements.
When I was sick in the hospital, Dr. Schoengold came by every morning and evening to check on me. He was actively involved in treatment during my hospital stay and after my discharge. He was a rare doctor who deeply loved his profession and his patients.
God bless Dr. Schoengold. To Dr. Schoengold's family, I want to express my deepest sympathizes and I appreciate you sharing Art with the rest of us.

I am extremely sadden to have learned of Dr. Schoengold's passing today a little less than six months after his death. My last appointment with him was in early April 2013 and I still remember his warm smile.
Dr. Schoengold was my physician for 24 years and I consider myself extremely lucky to have had him as my doctor. I remember 3 years ago when I was in the hospital (Montgomery General). He came by every morning and afternoon to see me. One night he was still rounding after 8pm, I couldn't believe it. He was dedicated and caring, and will be missed by all.
My warmest sympathies go to Dr. Schoengold's family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dr. Schoengold was a fabulous clinician. He has cared for my husband for at least 20 years. We are really saddened. They don't make docs like Dr. Schoengold anymore

My heart aches for anyone who knew and loved him like I did, yet to learn of his passing. He was the absolute best. Thank the Schoengold family for sharing him with us. I am stunned to hear the news of Dr Schoengold's passing. What a terrible loss to the medical world ,the patient community and his family. He was such a kind and gentle doctor. I can hear his laughter, as I think of stories we shared when I was there for an appointment. He was our physician for over 30 years, taking care of my parents, as well as my husband and myself. He has seen us all through many difficult times.
To DR Schoengold's family, you must know what a mark he made in thousands and thousands of lives, caring for each as tho they were his own family. I know you are proud, but don't know if you will ever really appreciate all that he did for so many. I wish you every blessing as you transition through this difficult time.
And I wish the best to Julie and Ashley; I know you are bravely carrying on and I thank you..
May God Bless you all.
With heartfelt sympathy and love,
Alice Page Smyth
