I spent 2 years with Bryan at UTEP. Our dorm rooms at Burgess hall were directly across the hall.It was indeed a lively hallway with much political discourse throughout the day, and long into the night as well. My memories are fond and although we had not been in touch for many years I will always remember him as intelligent, witty and a fearsome debater of causes he believed in.I was fortunate to had Bryan in my life - it made college so much more interesting.
May God bless and keep you all.
Kurt Rittenburg (UTEP 1969-1971)

Bryan was a wonderful friend, It is difficult for me to believe he has passed. My heartfelt sympathy to his family. He was brilliant, funny and fun. He was also a very compassionate man that uplifted me and gave me hope in some bad times in my life. Carl H. Green

Biff was a thoughtful and generous person, and lit up from the inside every Christmas--it was his favorite time of the year. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Melanie, Your brother was a good, kind and faithful friend to me so long ago at U. T. El Paso. And he introduced me to the Washington, DC culture when I relocated from El Paso to Chevy Chase, MD. I'm genuinely sorry for your loss. I'd like to leave you with perhaps my favorite scripture, "For God so loved the world that He sent His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." I'm praying you and your family will know the peace that passes understanding as you work through this season of real grief.

We remember Biff as fun, creative, loving, and intelligent. May God comfort those left behind: Lorna, Melanie, Jeff, and Devon. Love and prayers,
Bob and Dotty Lilly Hoots
