My sincere sympathies and sorrow in your loss. I was a nurse that worked with Dr. Recio at Prince Georges Hospital on E400 (psychiatric unit) in the late 70's. He was always such a kind man and great clinician. Blessings.

My sincere condolences to the Recio family, particularly Frances, Maria, and Carlos. Dr. and Mrs. Recio were lovely people who were always welcoming to family friends. I loved their stories of Spain and wisdom from the old country. Dr. Recio will be sincerely missed. May he rest in peace.

Frances - I have a wonderful moment in time memory of your father. My now 16 y.o. daughter Sofia accompanied me to your wedding. The service had ended, and your father was sitting in a wheelchair. My artistic Sofia caught a glimpse of the beautiful and ornate ceiling of the room where guests gathered to dance. For some reason at that moment it was just Sofia and Dr. Recio in that room together. Sofia looked up and was spinning and spinning, and her dress was flaring. She was laughing to herself, and your father was laughing and laughing as he watched my little girl spin (all alone in her mind). That was a beautiful and memorable day for your parents.
