On Thursday, December 4, 2014, Caroline A. Sgarlata of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Joseph L. Sgarlata; mother of Antoinette Wiseman, Carol Salmeri, Mary (Ed) Adamus, Cecilia Sgarlata, Joseph (Elizabeth) Sgarlata, and Roseanne (Anthony) Souza; sister of Frances Sheets. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), on Monday, December 8, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Church, 10103 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Tuesday, December 9, at 10:30 a.m. Entombment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
