I am stunned by this announcement, I wasn't even aware she was ill at our 50th reunion last year. A lovely lady, I know she will be missed.

I'm so sorry to hear Cathy lost her battle with cancer but was pleased she joined us (her former classmates) for the 50 Year Reunion of our Class of 1966 last year. It was wonderful to see her again!
My love and prayers to the family.

You were a dear friend of mine and a wonderful mother to your children. Though we didn't chat often, I felt you were always close by. Your courage and dignity in the face of adversity was amazing. And your visit to San Diego will ever remain a treasured memory. May you rest well in eternal peace. I will miss you so very much.
