Dear Pat, Kris, Kim and Family,

I have such fond memories of Chuck - always smiling and great with the kids. I still hear him bellowing for the kids to get to the finish, all kids. Such a gentleman and gentle man. Pat, you know I am there to talk to because of our club that you didn't want to join.

I'm sorry to hear about Chuck (I don't think I ever called him that- it was always Mr. Rodeffer) passing away. I didn't know him for that long, but I'd thought about stopping by to see him many times over the last 18 years. I always enjoyed our conversations about military planes, Pontiacs, dogs, and the benefits of buying a used car. Rest in peace, Chuck.

Chuck was one of my favorite people at Strathmore-Bel Pre. He was also one of the first to greet Barbara and me after we moved there in 1971. Over the years, he contributed a tremendous amount to the well-being of the community and was a very positive influence on the lives of many people. I feel grateful for having the opportunity to know him for many years and will certainly miss him.

Dear Pat and Family
It is with deep sorrow to learn of Chuck's passing. Working with him on many different projects at APL was the most pleasant experience. His humor, his smile, his professionalism was such a delight and will be missed but remembered forever. May you be comforted knowing he was loved respected by so many. Our prayers are with you.

I remember Mr. Rodeffer very fondly, someone who shared the same name with my father, and another proud supporter of the SBP Dolphins. I am so sorry to hear of his passing, but know that he is experiencing a peace now that none of us could ever imagine.

It saddens me to get the news that another one of our well respected and admired colleagues has passed away. I always enjoyed working with Chuck on what were very interesting and important projects. His friendly and professional demeanor was an asset to his personality and in-turn to his contributions to APL, the Navy and America. I will always remember him as a genuine role model and friend.
Please pass along my condolences to his wife and family.
Very respectfully, Bob T.
