Charles E. Francis "Chuck" (Age 92)
On Thursday, July 28, 2016, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Molly C. Francis; father of James (Truth Ann), Elizabeth (Martin), Richard (Nancy), Christopher (Mia), and the late Geoffrey and Susan. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Chuck was a WWII Navy veteran and participated in the Sicily and Normandy invasions. He worked for the Department of the Navy for 31 years and spent the last 12 years of his career as an executive with the Westinghouse Aerospace Division in Linthicum, MD. Relatives and friends may call at the Chapel at Riderwood Village, 3110 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring, MD, on Wednesday, August 10, from 11:30 a.m. to 12 Noon. followed by Funeral Service at 12 Noon. This is very sad and shocking news. I knew Chuck and Molly almost 25 years and was very fond of them. They were WONDERFUL kind, warm-hearted people. We last saw them when we took them out to lunch for their 70th anniversary. May they rest in peace and light perpetual shine upon them.
