On Saturday, December 30, 2017, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Carol Griggs "Peggy"; father of Charles I. Griggs, Jr. (Janet Ruth), and MaryMargaret Griggs; grandfather of Ashley, Melissa, Charlie, Lynsey, and Nickalas. Also survived by great-grandchildren, Chasadie, Logan, Lily and Lincoln; brother of Doris Hysan (Dan). Relatives and friends may call at Lutheran Church of St. Andrew, 15300 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20905, Friday, January 5, 2018, from 12 p.. until the service time at 1 p.m. Interment Parklawn Memorial Park. Charles and Peggy were two of our Favorites, always emanating happiness to those around them! They will be missed, but I'm sure heaven is a happier place, if possible, since they have Charles now. Love and Caring thoughts to his family and friends that have to deal with the loss !!!
