On Saturday, August 23, 2014, of Gaithersburg, MD. Beloved husband of 67 years to Margaret Gourlay Volz; father of Robert C. (Kathleen) Volz and Maureen V. (Terry) Hambrecht; grandfather of Steven Volz and Charlene Kotraba and great-grandfather of Makayla, Samantha, James and Milena. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, August 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.; where the Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 27, at 11 a.m. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery. Dad, I love and miss you. I hope you are playing 18 holes with some of golf's greatest players on God's golf course every day, and that all your shots are holes-in-one. So glad we made it to St. Andrews together. Don't worry about Mom - we'll take good care of her until you two are together again. Margaret,Bringing back a name from my childhood. My name was Barbara Walker and I lived with my Aunt Florence and Uncle Will Elliot and their daughter, Dorothy.
