It has been three long years since God called you home to be with him.
Your family and I love you and miss you so much. You are never far from my thoughts each day. When we are together we have such fond memories of the wonderful, fun, family times with you. Thank God for the happy times and great memories.
I had a Mass said for you today at our Church. If anyone is in Heaven it is you. You helped so many in so many different ways. You loved solving your patients Medical problems with your great surgical skill. You were always ready to lend an ear. or help others who were in need of help with their financial problems. You were so giving
and aways ready to help.
You were the best! We were so blessed to have been loved and protected by you. Together forever. Mary Pat

Today a friend of mine asked me who did the surgery on my right arm. I went to google the spelling of your name and found this link. You were an amazing doctor. I came to you when I was only 12 years old after falling off a scooter and needed 3 surgeries to fix it. You did the first 2. For over a year I was in your office every month, you were a great man. I still have the "yani" DVD you gave me after you found out I played violin. I am now 20 years old and living in Alabama. I attend AUM for nursing and to this day you regularly come up in conversations between me and other doctors. (I work at Jackson hosptial) you were an amazing surgeon! Thank you so much for everything you did for me!!!

Happy birthday to you on your 72nd birthday.if you were still here you would say to me," Now how did we get to be this age? I don't feel any older than in my 20"s". I was the only one that freted about getting older.
Your children and I and some friends celebrated you tonight. It was a bitter sweet affair but we all loved being together in your honor.
Your are so loved and never forgotten.
We go on but yor are there and we feel you. Mary Pat

Dear Mary Pat,
Congratulations on your 50th wedding anniversary. It's nice that you focussed on celebrating your life and the memory of your lost husband, instead of being sad all alone. I can only hope that my wife will remember me as fondly as you remember your husband. I am sure he is smiling down at you, thinking "wait 'till I get hold of you again".

On this day, June 15, 1963 we were married. Today would have been our 50th Wedding Anniversary.
Happy Anniversary to us. Though you are not here with me to celebrate and remember this milestone in our lives, I will be having a celebration of our life together. Rather than spending the day being sad and lonely, I am have a BBQ and party with our children, grandchildren and family and friends who have been there with us thru the years.
It has not been easy this past 2 years and 3 months when you died so unexpectedly but family and friends have kept me going with love and support.
Happy Anniversary to you. Thank you for beomg the most wonderful, loving, supportive.giving and fun husband, father, grandfather and friend.
You provided us with so much and you are missed every day. I hope you will be smiling down on me, and all of us on this our Wedding Day.

To my Valentine. On this the 2nd Valentines Day without you, I am remembering all those years when you would come home with some token of your Love.
It could be a beautiful card, Candy, a stuffed animal, yes Leo the love heart lion is sitting on the bed or a beautiful heart necklace. Just you coming thru the door was enough.
I thank God I have all these wonderful memories. I thank you for all those wonderful years and your love.
Missing you. Mary Pat

Hi, I am compiling a list of my former physicians and was sad to find Dr. Ubelhart's obit after googling his name. I met your dad when I went to Commonwealth with my MRI. I had awoken one day in 2008 suddenly unable to turn my head without yelping from the extreme pain any movement caused. After a few appointments with my MD and after failing out of physical therapy I was finally allowed an MRI. As Dr. Ubelhart loaded the disc in his computer I said "My doctor isn't taking this very seriously. She said 'Sometimes you just sleep wrong'. But this is like nothing I've experienced before. I feel like I must have the lowest threshold of pain in the world..." About this time, my images loaded on his screen. This kind man turned to me and said "You've been getting up and going to work every day? And driving? Like this? You have two herniated and two bulging discs in your neck. You do not have a low threshold of pain, Ms. Randell. You? Are a soldier." He then promptly wrote me a prescription for dilauded, providing me the first relief I'd had in more than two weeks, along with a referral to one of his partners. I will never forget this kind man, his blunt diagnosis and caring manner. I did end up having surgery, but I've never forgotten Dr. Ubelhart and his style of reassuring me that there truly WAS something wrong. It's been almost two years now, but I'm very sorry for your loss.

In the summer of 1989, a year after graduating from high school, I was badly injured in a car crash. Not only did Dr Ubelhart 'fix me up' through multiple operations and extensive physical therapy, he also inspired me to pursue a career in healthcare. Thanks to that inspiration I am now a global executive with the multinational pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline. Dr Ubelhart had an extraordinarily important, positive impact on the course of my life. I will always be grateful to him for that and for the kind, compassionate manner in which he helped see me through the most difficult experience of my life. Thank you, Dr Ubelhart, for the gift of health and the enduring memory of your kindness and empathy.
