CHRIS J. PERRUS (Age 88)
On Saturday, August 30, 2014, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Ann Perrus; step-father of Nana and Doug. Brother of Harry (Sophia) Perrus. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Perrus served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater as a medical corpsman. He served in the 6th Marine Division Fleet Marine Force in the Pacific, South Pacific, Guam and the Marshall Islands. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Monday, September 1, from 7 to 9 p.m. where Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, September 2 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Chris & Ann were wonderful neighbors &friends in Neeld Estate in Huntingtown,MD on the shore of the Chesapeake Bay. Chris was a Past President of our Citizen'S Association & very active in our community. We exchanged Christmas cards & notes for at least 30 years. Chris' holiday card was always the first to Arrive. Chris was one in a million! please accept our sincere condolences.
