Remembering Tina, once again, as the anniversary of her passing and her celebration of life are noted at this time of year. Tina was one of those people for which there is so much gratitude in knowing her--thankful to God that our lives "intersected!" Loved our talks at work and the wisdom and insight that her conversations always displayed, in her quiet, understated, yet, often, profound way--she thought deeply about people and situations...praying that she is enjoying God's best blessings in glory...may eternal rest be hers and may perpetual Light shine upon her...also lifting up Bruce and her parents in this prayer...

Remembering dear Tina on the 7th anniversary of her passing from this life into eternity...the verse of St. Paul from First Thessalonians comes to mind, in chapter 3: "We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ." Asking that continued eternal rest and perpetual light be shone upon Tina, her brother Bruce, and her parents...it was a blessing to have known her...she will not be forgotten...

Again, remembering Tina on the 6th anniversary of her passing into eternal life...thoughts and memories of working with this quiet, kind, capable--and strong--lady and being grateful for her friendship. The words from the Book of Wisdom, in the Holy Bible, come to mind, at this time: Wisdom 3: 2; 3b; 4b; 5: "In the eyes of the foolish, they seem to have died and their departure was thought to be a disaster; but they are at peace; their hope is full of immortality;...they will receive great good because God tested them and found that they were worthy of Himself"... Thoughts and prayers also go out to Tina's dear cousin, Bonnie, and her extended family and circle of friends. Myles Lane, another friend and former co-worker of Tina, joins me in sending remembrance, as well. May eternal rest be granted dear Tina and may perpetual light shine upon her, Bruce, and her parents...

Remembering the anniversary of Tina's passing, at this time, and, also, her special spirit of quiet strength. It was a privilege to meet Tina and get to know her, even in the confines of a work situation. She, her brother Bruce, and her family members are in my thoughts and prayers when I visit Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD, where they all are buried, as well as members of my own family, and other friends, including members of the clergy. Thinking, also, of Tina's wonderful cousin, Bonnie, and her family, who were such a support to Tina. May perpetual light shine upon the Wright family and all of our beloved family and friends.

My thoughts and prayers continue to go out to Bonnie and the extended family of Tina. She was a patient and kind caregiver, for a number of years, to her brother, Bruce--no easy task, as anyone who has experienced this type of responsibility will tell you. But she continued to give of herself because she knew it was what God would want her to do. She was given the strength, on the bad days, as well as the good. Tina knew that God was holding both her, and Bruce, in His love, strength, and power--thus making an unbreakable cord of three, mighty strands. Because of her love and caring, Tina enjoyed hearing, upon her entry into glory: "Well done, good and faithful servant." She is in God's presence and is reunited, in His love, with Bruce and her immediate family. For that, we rejoice!
