CLAIRE MARKEY CRAFT (Age 88)
On Wednesday, May 27, 2015, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Robert Craft; daughter of the late Cecilia (Gleason) and Robert Markey. She is survived by many loving cousins. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Blvd., West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday, May 31 from 2 to 4 p.m. and at St. John the Baptist Church, 12319 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, MD on Monday, June 1 from 10 to 11 a.m., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. I will look back on many memories I have of Claire as my principal from 1980-1984. She was a wonderful principal who always looked out for the best welfare of both her students and teachers. We will miss her in our monthly gatherings of the "Langley Park-McCormick Lunch Bunch," a group of retired teachers who worked under her. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to her family and friends.
