On Wednesday, May 25, 2016, of Rockville, MD. Beloved husband of the late Patrica Ann Dewey; father of Julia M. Dewey Johnston (the late Paul D. Johnston) and Cliff (Mona) Dewey. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday, May 29, 2016, from 7 to 9 pm. Interment private. Cliff was one in a million...as we all know....He would tell me often as he mentored me you have already earned your angel wings....Yet Cliffs Wings protected...guided...encourged....A lot of people that I know!!!He was always there for a helpful,kind loving hand sharing ,caring,pulling many through Incrediable struggles.My experience in having the opportunity in knowing Cliff was My Heart has expanded!!!To his Beautiful Family my Thoughts and Prayers to You!!!Cliffs eyes lit up when ever he shared stories with me about his family.He had tremdous love for all of you!!!!Lovingly,Blanche

Cliff will be missed in the audience of the piano bars like, the Flaming Pit, Normandie Farm Restaurant and others. His favorite song was "My Way" by the great Frank Sinatra. Cliff always had a joke to share and left you with a smile on your face. May God Bless him, give him peace and comfort his family.

Cliff always offered a smile and quick quip to keep everyone on their toes. He was a man who was both intelligent and kind beyond that of most people. I treasure the time I got to spend with him. I believe that from him I learned that life is to be lived each day for that day. He will be missed. To Cliff Jr., Mona, and everyone who loved Cliff and will miss him, I offer my deepest condolences. He was and will remain a beautiful soul.
