COLIN R. HEICHMAN (Age 42)
Passed away at his home in Alexandria, VA on April 15, 2014. He was a graduate of Pamplin School of Business, Virginia Tech University, class of 1994. He is survived by his parents and sister and four step brothers. No services will be held. Donations may be made to the Make A Wish foundation.

Colin and I worked together for many years. We talked, argued, agreed and disagreed on many subjects. He was a generous man of thought and deed. I miss him beyond words. My condolences to his family.

Colin was the example, that you did not have to agree, or have the same beliefs to get along. When I worked at DFAS, whenever I needed to talk, he would stop whatever he was doing and give me his full attention. I learned so much from him, and he will truly be missed. My condolences to the Family, and may you find comfort in the kind words and memories of Colin.

To the Heichman family, I send my condolences. Colin was a very good friend and I will miss him greatly. I wouldn't be where I am if it hadn't been for his kindness, warmth of laughter and sweet spirit. He will be greatly missed. I personally wished I had one more conversation with him before he went home. Please accept my deepest sympathies.
