Jaylene, after reading all these heartfelt messages, it was wonderful to read how much Corey meant to everyone who knew him whether it was friends or work colleagues. It is so touching and comforting to know more about Corey through all those who enjoyed his love and friendship. Corey lives on through the stories and memories that we cherish. I knew him as an upbeat happy guy who was kind, generous, full of good spirit and love for his family. I smile when I think of him. Your house buying story is my very favorite one to tell clients. He was your angel on earth and now in heaven. I hope that gives you strength at this difficult time. Love you Jay.

Our children have grown up together and during that time I have made friends with lots of parents. You and Corey always stood out, in particular, because of your kindness and the fun we all have shared with our families at games, cookouts and school events.

Watching the both of you together with Maja and Julian was like watching musical harmonies come to life. Corey was such a great father and husband and it showed by the way he cared for you all. We will miss his Wisconsin brat sausages (especially Nia) and his kind soul.

My heart is truly with you at this time. We have always looked out for each other and our kids and that will not change. I wish you and your family peace.

Love you Jaylene

Corey, dear friend-- You've left us way too soon! You were a loyal and caring friend to all of us who knew you at Commerce, as well as all those in need who never met you but who benefited in many ways from your tireless efforts on behalf of the CFC. I can't help but picture you, even now, rushing around somewhere, trying to make a difference for someone!
