On Friday, January 9, 2015, of Frederick, MD. Beloved son of the late Wilfred and Margaret McNulty Miller; loving brother of John, Kevin, Matthew, Mary, Jerry, Nancy, Michael and the late James Miller; uncle of Christopher, Erin, Lauren, Brittany, Matthew, Emily and Maggie Miller. Also survived by his dear friends Frank Davis, Jimmy Zoller, Pat McTavish, Frank Clements, Ricky Early, Mark Brock and Mark Kolb. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Friday, January 16, 2015, from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Interment private. My saddest condolences. Our prayers are with you. Danny was a fantastic human being. I have so many great memories with Dan. We met in Mr Holiday's Woodshop class. We played on Sligo Jr High Basketball team. We also played football at Northwood High. Dan was a great athlete yet he was always humble. He was one of toughest athletes I ever played with and that includes playing football at the University of Maryland. I was very sad to hear about Dan's passing. As someone who lost a brother and father to cancer, Dan is no longer suffering. He is in a better place now. I heard Dan put up a serious fight to cancer. I was not surprised. Dan played sports in the same way; tough as nails fighting till the end. It was my pleasure knowing Dan all these years. May God be with your family. May Dan rest in peace forever. He will be missed!

My grandparents lived on the same street as the Millers in Silver Spring, I remember them from when we were kids. I got to know them at the Silver Spring Boys Club, then in school. While others teased me, Danny (and Mike) was always nice to me and actually stood up for me many times. Always a man of honor and respect! RIP my friend - we WILL be together again. You presence will be truly missed here on Earth - Heaven has gotten a better since you arrived. I hope you and Chris are hanging out!!

Danny always brought a smile to my face, he was so much fun. I am so saddened to see his life end so soon, but glad he didn't suffer any more. May all of us; friends and family, come together through love and memories to comfort and strengthen each other during this difficult time.

Danny my big cousin you will be so missed! I find comfort that you are no longer in pain. And you are now an angel watching over us. I will carry with me all the memories or our childhood. One funny memories I think of is while visiting with the Millers Daddy came in with his new hair cut for football and it was a mohawk. I know that Aunt Margaret wasn't liking it much! But Danny pulled it off with his endearing smile!
