Not sure what to say?

Had the pleasure of working with Dave on a case and despite the fact we were on opposing sides - he was never aggressive but tried to resolve issues in a calm, intellectual way. Sorry to hear of his passing in today's Washington Post.

I had the pleasure and honor of meeting Dave through work. I admired all the wonderful qualities that made Dave the special person that he was. Dave had intelligence, wit, charm and most of all, he was very caring. Dave will be missed and my thoughts and prayers go to his family.

Betsy,I'm so sorry to hear about Dave, I don't know what to say. He was not only my cousin but my best friend. We lost touch with each other through the years and distance, but I thought of him often and the good times we had many years ago. I miss you Dave.

A former work colleague of many years ago who always had a smile, a handshake and kind words whenever we would run into each other at the Court House. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends. Thanks Dave for always being nice.

Dave was the older brother I never had. Stern but not overbearing; critical but always accepting; constantly looking out for my best interests – he helped me become a better person.
His dry sense of humour would also improve my jokes by suggested edits, as well as his cautioning language, when appropriate. As a sounding board, he was scarily accurate in his analysis, and his perspective a refreshing departure from my narrow vision.
His presence on this planet added value to all whose lives he touched, and his actions will be a yardstick used for measuring our good conduct for years to come. I count myself among we happy few; he will be missed.

Dave - a kind and gentle soul - he will be missed. His body has left us but his memory and spirit remain with us forever. He has taught us how to be a better person by example.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all the family and loved ones still on earth. My condolences.
A fellow bee keeper. Norma
