On Thursday, July 24, 2014, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Joan M. Baker; loving father of Maureen (Jeff) Bell, Michelle (Glenn) Stidsen and Melissa (Peter) Franklin and the late infant son Matthew Baker. Grandfather of Chloe Stidsen. Brother of Deborah Baker. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, August 19, from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial Mass at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 72 University Blvd. East, Silver Spring, MD, on Wednesday, August 20, at 10:30 a.m. Interment Westport, CT at a later date. Dave, Joan, Miriam and I had a great time at Epcot during our 50th high school reunion that was held in Orlando. I have the picture framed and on my desk as it reminds me of many wonderful times that we have had over the years. Dave was truly a wonderful person. His example of love that he showed toward Joan touched me deeply. I had the great honor to do up both of their genealogies. Now all three of them have passed on to their heavenly rewards. I'll always treasure our Pioneer friendship. GO NMHS PIONEERS!
