DONALD RICHARD CROWTHER (Age 82)
On Sunday, November 16, 2014, of Silver Spring, MD. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Benson Crowther, his son Doug, his son Rick and daughter-in-law Therese, and his siblings Ruth Manning of Massachusetts, Arline Elcock of Connecticut, and Rexford Crowther of New Hampshire. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Monday, November 24, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be celebrated at Montgomery Hills Baptist Church, 9727 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Tuesday, November 25, at 11 a.m. Interment at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vietnam Veterans of America, In Memory of Donald Crowther, 8719 Colesville Road, Suite 100, Silver Spring, Maryland 20910.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

My father-in-law was one of the best men I was privileged to know. Dad C preached at our wedding and was a kind and gentle man. We are sad here on earth but know that all the Angels are rejoicing and St. Peter and Dad are having some lively conversations!
