On Saturday, December 26, 2015, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife for 62 years of Michael J. Broderick; mother of Eileen Broderick, Michael Broderick (Kateri), Kevin Broderick (Cathy) and Patrick Broderick; sister of Jack Mangan (Meg); grandmother of Michael, Stefanye, Danny, Bernadette, Patrick, Kaylee, Christopher and the late Brandon; great grandmother of Leah, Caden, Logan and Noah. She is also survived by a cousin, Bob Caruana and many other loving relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, December 29, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Bernadette''s Church, 72 University Blvd. East, Silver Spring, MD, on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. I remember Doris from my childhood.She and my sister,Franny were such good friends.They and their other friends seemed to be enjoying life.I recall the kindness she showed to Bea and me,Franny's little sisters.I remember Doris and Mike visiting my parents and how their visits meant so much to Mom and Dad.
