DOROTHY ANN ARENDT
Of Rockville, MD, on Monday July 21, 2014. She was born to William and Catherine Bouhall on the east side of Cleveland, OH on November 9, 1926. She was predeceased by her devoted husband of 51 years Howard W. Arendt. Together they have three children, Thomas H. Arendt and his wife Kathleen, of Houston, Texas; William G. Arendt and his wife Mary, of Vienna, Virginia; Karen A. Cox and her husband Richard of Gaithersburg, MD; cherished grandmother of Thomas Matthew Arendt, Richard James Cox, Jr, Catherine Nora Arendt and Madeline Mae Arendt. Predeceased by her sister Mary Catherine Conkey (Bill) of Cleveland, OH, she is survived by her brother William John Bouhall (Lois) of Cleveland, OH; and sister Sr. Mary Laura Bouhall, OSU of the Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland; and sister-in-law Georgia Arendt of Louisville, KY. Dorothy is also survived by a large extended family of loving nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews of Cleveland, OH and Louisville, KY. She will be missed by many. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Raphael Catholic Church, Falls and Dunster Roads, Potomac, MD on Monday July 28 at 10:30 a.m. Interment services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA at a later date. Friends will be received on Sunday July 27 from 3 to 5 p.m. at PUMPHREY'S COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 300 W Montgomery Ave., (Rt. 28, exit 6A just off I-270) Rockville, MD. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Montgomery Hospice 1355 Piccard Dr., Suite 100, Rockville, MD.
