Dorothy V. Vincent (Age 93)
On Tuesday, February 28, 2017, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Philip G. Vincent; mother of Dorothy (Ray) Pratt and Darlene Dorr. Also survived by devoted brother-in-law, Francis Vincent. Funeral Service will be celebrated at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, on Tuesday, March 7, at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church, Attn: Organ Fund, 106 West Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

I will always remember Aunt Dorothy for being so sweet and kind to my mom, my brother, and me. Whenever we bumped into each other while grocery shopping at the Langley Park Safeway, she would always give us her beautiful smile and a hug. She was a bright light in our lives.

My father used to to talk about his brother Lewis, (Scoot) Dorothy,and Darlene.
Although his contacts dwindled over the years. he talked about his family and often asked me how "Dottie" was doing. I am so very sorry for your loss dear cousin, and hope that fond memories of good times will always comfort you. To many your mother is as always an Angel.

My mother (Doris Braden), brother (Bob Barden) & I (Debbie Daniels) are very sorry for your loss. Bobby & I still remember her from our childhood as Aunt Dorothy, who was so kind and genuinely a nice person. She truly made this world a better place.
