On Friday, October 17, 2014, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Rose C. Czarnecki; father of Lawrence (Sandra), Henry (Sharon) and John (Constance) Czarnecki and Laura (Robert) Fulton; grandfather of Natalie, Jack, Paul, Thomas, and Sierra Grace Czarnecki, Melissa and Shelby Fulton. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, 20901 (Valet Parking), Friday, October 24 from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew Apostle Church, Kemp Mill Road and Arcola Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20902 on Saturday, October 25 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

It's hard to believe it's been 10 years since his passing. I miss my dinners with Ed and Rose, both. Ed was the more adventurous eater of the two, and was always up for something new. I still miss you both...

My remembrance for some reason or another is that Ed was taller than me and I remember his ready smile.
Marquette High was blessed with fine men such as Ed and I consider it a privilege to have known Ed.

My sincere condolences to the entire family. Mr. Czarnecki was a very special man. I always looked forward to seeing him - his enthusiasm, joy and zest for life was extremely contagious. You could not help but smile and be happy along with him. He will be missed greatly.
