I knew Eddie at a very young age as we lived across the hall in frome each other in the Willowbrook apartments from 1964 to 1967. I was almost 4 years older but we were friends. Most of my memories are of that small and cute kid with the wide smile and kind eyes. Always happy and genial. Life is too short knowing he is now gone.

Though I never acually met Eddie, I felt as though I knew him from phone conversations on my sister Patti's behalf. His long time love and loyalty to her were unmistakable. Even now, I thank you and pray you're at peace.

I only had the pleasure of meeting Eddie a couple of times, but I felt much closer to him because of the wonderful stories his loving Mother would share with me. My heart goes out to Sarita and Rigo and I pray for their comfort during this most difficult time.
With all my love.

¡Eduarditooooooooo viejo! Mi gran hermano... Always with a smile and an example of a good son and friend. Your love for your mom was inspiring and your love for "nuestro querido Rigo" made me so happy to know that after 28 years with Rigo you and I were going to share for at least that long. La vida que me llevó a mi hermano de tu edad en noviembre ahora te lleva a ti: entiendo que es porque estabas listo para la próxima fase. Te voy a extrañar mi hermano... El cielo es un día más feliz porque tú estás allí. Gracias por tu amistad, cariño, sonrisa y amor, COL Jaime Areizaga-Soto

You will be missed 'Miiiister' Ed, as our sons David and Aaroncito called you. You always had a smile and time to chat. It was a pleasure coming to the barbershop. There's an emptiness on the block. God bless you.

You always brought a smile to my face, Eddie. The first time I met you was on a beach in the Bahamas in the 80's and from that moment on, you were a joy to be around. I am so glad I got to spend a week with you this past January on the cruise with family and friends. You are gone too soon, my friend. My deepest condolences to your wonderful mom, Rigo and the rest of your amazing family. You were truly loved and I am blessed to have been a part of your life. Rest in peace, sweet Eddie. You will be loved and remembered forever.

I will never forget the kind and patient guy at the ticket counter working for US Airways . Ed helped to train me and many others and we learned from the best! He was always so kind and patient no matter what anyone presented to him . He was an amazing guy and cannot beleive he is gone from us to soon. He will forever be in the hearts of his US Airways family. Our hearts are saddened but our great loss.

Ed. You were more than a barber to many of us; you were a confidant, a friend, and sometimes a confessor. Appointments with you were like meetings with a trusted counselor; with the end of a session becoming an excellent hair cut and a soul at peace. I will miss you fried, rest in peace.

Dear Friend,
You will be missed greatly. Many a time I could pick up the phone and we would just carry on like no time had passed at all. That is a rare thing these days and I will miss it. You will always be in our thoughts.

I write this note in total disbelief. I can't believe you are gone Ed. You were such a kind gentle soul that everyone loved and admired. I am in my 38th year of patronage at Georgetown Hairstyling and was planning on bringing my 19 month old to continue the tradition with you. I will miss our conversations about the world and talks about your dogs, boats and projects. God Bless you.

No. No. NO.

Ed... too soon. Too Soon. TOO SOON.

May your soul be at peace, sir. You were too good for this world, but just right for the next. I will miss you, and will never forget, so long as I draw breath.

My dear cousin - mi primo Eduardito - is how I knew you as a little boy. I always looked up to you and admired you greatly. You were generous, kind, gentle and just wicked enough to make the good times even better. You were there for all of us in the family in our hour of need. No matter how much physical distance there was between us I always knew I could count on you. Now you've gone and we are all terribly saddened. But rest assured - I will never forget you and will always treasure the good times we shared and the love you showed me! May you rest in peace! Que en paz descanses mi querido primo!

There was no brighter star, no bigger smile and no sweeter heart than our dear Ed. He was what most strive to be, unforgettable and loved...and now he is forever our Angel. I hope with all of my heart that you are back in the arms of those you lost that also loved you deeply. I will always have you in my heart.

RIP our friend. Heaven has gotten a superior musician and a great drummer. We will miss you.
