Our condolences to the Fones family. It was a pleasure to know and work with Ed for the past nine years. Ed was always a true professional and loved what he did. His knowledge and dedication to his career was very inspiring to all that knew him. He was always willing to help anyone that needed assistance and his vast knowledge of the building industry never ceased to amaze everyone. Ed was always patient and kind to everyone that he came in contact with. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Dear Bernice, My heartfelt condolences to you and your family on Ed's passing. On one of our trips east from Arizona, Kathy and I visited you and we had such a good time with you and Ed. You took us to a seafood restaurant for lunch and I remember lots of smiles and laughs. Some good stories about your adventures with Bill and Lois too. And of course, Ed and I got in some talk about the Senators and Redskins. By then the Nationals were around so we talked about them too. I also remember that shortly after Kathy and I married, Ed remarked that I'd have to pass a test before being accepted into the family - "Did I like the Redskins and did I like eating crabs?" Glad I passed. Bernice, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers and I will always remember Ed.
