Who was Ed Kaiser ? Ed was a man of generally few spoken words. Ed was a younger brother to Peggy & Bob, a brother-in-law to Cathleen, and an older brother to Joe & CeCe.

Ed was an uncle to three wonderful young people, Travis, Zach & Casey.

For those few lucky people in this world that were able to call Ed their friend, Ed was the embodiment of a BEST FRIEND. Ed was the guy that you could call at any hour of the day or night, and he would soon be there to help you with most anything that one could ask a friend for help with. Ed would not show up with a happy greeting and words of encouragement. He would show up and let you know what an idiot you were for "doing this again" or "trying to do what", but he always showed up. He'd let you know that you had again tried to do something that you shouldn't have, but Ed showed up.

Ed was a master at quick fixes and just plain figuring out how he could improvise and make things work again with what he had available to him at the moment. If at all possible, Ed would rather make something with what he had, rather than to go to a store to buy something that he could probably create a better version of on his own. It would not be pretty, but it would be functional.

At the young age of 62, Ed was taken from this world far too soon. All I can figure is that God needed another handyman in Heaven, so he called upon Ed, the great fix-it man, to come home to his final resting place. Though if possible, Ed will still be fixing this and helping out others with that.

REST IN PEACE DEAR FRIEND ED !

Whenever I hear "The river" by Springsteen, it reminds me of you and all the late night drives in your black Bonneville. Just cruisin and listening to the boss. R.I.P Ed.
