EDWARD J. MURTHA (Age 80)  
On Monday, May 30, 2016, Edward J. Murtha of Rockville, MD, beloved husband of the late Mary Ita Murtha; father of Eileen Gallagher, Mary Kay Gibbons, and Ann Sheetz. Devoted grandfather of Megan, Laura, Sean, Kevin, Mary, Brigid, Katie and John. Brother of Mary Bieber, Michael Murtha (Dec.) and Anne Palmer. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Blvd., West Silver Spring, MD (Valet Parking), Sunday, June 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Shrine of St. Jude, 12701 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD, on Monday, June 6 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, 2nd floor, Bethesda, MD 20814.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com
