EILEEN HEEREN KRANZ (Age 96)
On Friday, June 9, 2017 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late William W. Kranz. She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Kranz LaGrassa (Stephen LaGrassa), of Royal Oak, Michigan, Christine Kranz Smith (Jim Smith) of Washington, DC and Patricia Kranz (Shaun English) of Bronx, New York; grandchildren, Joe LaGrassa, Nick LaGrassa, Annie LaGrassa, Danny Smith, Molly Smith Molloy (Matt Molloy), Shaun English and Kaley English; great-granddaughter, Margaret Eileen Molloy; and brother, Vernon Heeren of Barrington, Illinois.A Memorial Mass will be Celebrated at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, 5949 Western Avenue NW, Washington, DC, on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dennis J. Smith Legacy Foundation, 111 McGuire Drive, Manteno, IL 60950, to provide scholarships to deserving students at Bishop McNamara High School, Kankakee, IL, the alma mater of Eileen's daughters, Pam, Chris and Patty. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

My sincere condolences to Chris, Pam & families. I worked for & with Mr. & Mrs. Kranz at Kranz Electric in Kankakee, IL. Mr. Kranz gave me away at my wedding. My sister Connie replaced me in their office. A wonderful family.God bless all.
