I'll miss her point of view, interesting discussions, awareness of international affairs, our common interests in music and languages. And her shared love of our granddaughters who will feel her loss more over time. She was an extremely practical person who did all she could for her family without thinking much of herself. Her loss is very great to all of us.

Dear Frank, Roland, Marion, George, Irma and Lois, and Henry
You have our sincerest sympathy. I am proud to say Elke and I were best friends, and I will never have another friend like her. She was closer than family and I loved her so much. Reading this makes it a bi more real, but I still can not believe she is gone, and she has left a big hole in my heart. Our prayers are with all of you and we love you so very much.
Love,
Jim and Donna
