On Monday, September 22, 2014 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late John E. Ryan; mother of Judith R. (Robin) Gaardsmoe; grandmother of Kimberly Darling and Cary Gaardsmoe. Also survived by four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Relatives and friends may call at Inter-Faith Chapel, 3680 South Leisure World Boulevard., Silver Spring, MD on Monday, September 29, 2014 from 10 to 11 a.m., with funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery. Judy,words can not express what your mom meant to me( she matched Ken and I together for 28 years til he passed) I just found out and had to search the computer for Washington Post- She will be remembered and not forgotten. for the heart she had for people,the kindness and love- You were the the Apple of her eye. May the Lord continue to guide and bless you. Prayers for u and Robin and family.
