FRANCES E. MALLGRAVE (Age 74)
On Wednesday, February 10, 2016 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife for 52 years of the late Francis X. Mallgrave; mother of Matthew F.X. Mallgrave and his wife Genevieve and the late Marianne F. Mallgrave; sister of Patricia Paetow, William Kennealy, and her late siblings, Kathleen Prendergast, Marie Corey, James Kennealy and Edward Kennealy. Also survived by four loving grandchildren, Megan, Teddy, Dylan and Lucy Mallgrave. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, February 18 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew Apostle Church, Arcola Ave and Kemp Mill Rd, Silver Spring, MD on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Dear Matthew How sorry I am to hear of your Moms death and then to see in her obit that your Dad passed as well. I will always remember her as a dear childhood friend from Sydenham Street. I will always remember your Dad as a gentleman who so enjoyed how Fran made him laugh. They were a lovely compliment for each other I know your Mom was very proud of you and loved you and your beautiful family. Again, my deepest sympathy.

Please accept my sincerest sympathy on the death of your dear mother. Fran was my very good friend, and the Smith family's fond memories of our twelve years on Henderson Avenue are inextricably entwined with those of the Mallgrave family's.
