GEORGE PETER DOUNIS (Age 94)
On Monday, September 25, 2017, of Hyattsville, MD. Beloved son of the late Peter and Pota Dounis; brother of Mary Dounis and Aristides Dounis, longtime companion of Thelma Curtis. He is also survived by Robert Curtis, Deborah Curtis, Michael Curtis, Brad Curtis, and Tristan Curtis. George was a WWII Veteran. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, September 28, from 2 to 4 p.m.; where the Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 29, at 9 a.m. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
